Snowbird
Snowbird traces the journey of a young woman through a debris-scattered desert community, sharing her homemade cake with the residents along her route. The movie was shot in Slab City, a snowbird campsite in the Sonoran Desert 156 miles northeast of San Diego, used by recreational vehicle owners and squatters from across North America.
Sean Baker wrote and directed this original short for KENZO and shot the film entirely on iPhone with the Moondog Labs Anamorphic Lens.
