The Land

Four teenage boys devote their summer to escaping the streets of Cleveland, Ohio, by pursuing a dream life of professional skateboarding. But when they get caught in the web of the local queenpin, their motley brotherhood is tested, threatening to make this summer their last.

The Land, which premiered at Sundance in 2016, was filmed on Arri Alexa as well on iPhone 6+ with the Moondog Labs anamorphic lens.  The iPhone footage was used to create a "found footage" aesthetic with an intimate feel that would let the audience get as close as possible to the teenagers' backside flips and 360s.
